Respiratory Failure & Mechanical Ventilation

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. I have a question regarding non-invasive ventilation (NIV): what is the difference between BIPAP and CPAP+PS? For example, with EPAP 5 and IPAP 15, the PIP is 15, and with CPAP 5 and Pressure Support 10, the PIP is 15. I understand the concept of BIPAP with a rate, but I am wondering if there is any difference in pressure delivery?

Also BPAP can be patient or machine triggered while CPAP + PS is always patient triggered.
