Hemodynamics Management

The main factors, which influence ScvO2, are:

1. hemoglobin

2. Arterial oxygen saturation of hemoglobin

3. Cardiac output: CO

4. and oxygen consumption.

Theoretically if fist three of these factors are kept constant, the value of ScvO2 reflects the changes of the oxygen consumption.
